My Birthday

Today I am 25, but aside from that I want to apologize for the lack of posting. I have been on leave since the end of January and I won't start clearing the Army until March so I have a whole month off (only half a month or so left now). Take care all of you and thanks again for your support.

Happy 25th birthday Zach!!

You are mere 25?
A father of two and a light year of worldly knowledge :-)

I read your blog to remind me that there are so many great American soldiers out there, who bleed when innocent Iraqis bleed too.

These pics from Abu Ghraib boiled my blood:http://salon.com/news/feature/2006/02/16/abu_ghraib/

They remind me of the so many heartless American soldiers out there, who laugh when Iraqis bleed.

When I had leave I was at the beach, bar, mountains, ocena, lake girlfriends etc.

Never in front of a computer.

Congrats on making it to 25 and I hope that you have many more.

Thanks for your service.

Happy birthday Zack. When I was 18 and they put a weapon in my hand, I thought "Christ, I'm just a kid." I look back and think how young I was at 25 (I'm 36 now). Odd to think how we keep reflecting back on "kids" yet depending on one's experience, years are not such a good measure.
All the best.

Happy Birthday Zach! Today is my husband's Bday. Oh if only we could be 25 again. Hey I sent you an email with no subject. You might delete since you won't recognize my name. I just wanted you to see this. http://nobravery.cf.huffingtonpost.com/
Just watch and listen. It's sad.

Hi there Zach and happy Birthday. I stumbled upon your site searching for something else, but had to comment. It's obvious from your pics and blogs how much you love your wife and children, and there's nothing more beautiful in the world than that. I'm sure being a soldier and being deployed for a time would just strengthen that feeling but it's so nice to see that. I'm also a mom of 2 kids (son is Zach and shares your birthday!) and so can relate (and my name's tara) :) I also share similiar political views. So God bless you and your family and thanks for your service to our country!

A belated happy birthday to you, Zach. It is odd to think you are a few years younger than my oldest child. You have experienced a lot, and comported yourself with great authenticity.

Awwww... Sorry that I am late. Haven't had a chance to check in for the past month.

Anyway, I do hope that your Birthday was a great one Zack, and that you have many, many more! :)

Peace, love, and best wishes Zack... And God's blessing! :)

Belated Happy Birthday, Zach! I can't even begin to tell you, as a complete stranger, how happy and relieved I feel after all these months to know that you are finally (and safely) at the end of this long road.

If wishes were horses beggars would ride. So I don't know what it's worth, but if it means anything - even a split second pride/happiness/hope - know that you're wished the best. Always.

Oh, and I was just browsing through your flickr photos. Some absolutely amazing shots in there! Both you and your wife have SKILLS with a camera.
