I just want to let you know that I just found you blog. You write beautifully. Thank you for putting your life on the line, and your family on hold while you fought to protect what we stand for...
hello zach, i found your website from this book: the best american nonrequired reading which i borrowed from my local library (i'm not american for the record). they had a couple of your entries and i appreciated your portrayal of the war from your point of view and the humanity you showed through the different trials you were placed in.
i was half expecting this website to be defunct - your entries in the book were dated back to 2005 - and it heartens me to see that you're well and still writing.
you have a beautiful family and i'm glad you're back with them safely. oh, and congrats on being published again :)
regards,
jin
